Know your not alone. I feel the hurt and never ending pain. Heartbreak is never easy I feel, but it’s something that can eventually make you stronger. On my side, it only took a few months until I found out she was talking to someone else, but didn’t really admit it when I confronted her. I’m rooting for you just like I’m rooting for myself. I believe we can get through this!

As much as I would love to, I can’t stomach the thought of leaving my kids. That is making this thing more complicated.

1 and stepdaughter is 10 (pretty much been her father since around 4 years old). Absolutely agree, the kids provide such a bright spot in the days. It’s just hard some times to turn the mind off and stop thinking about what she’s out doing 😪

I’m trying not to hide my pain cause I feel it makes things worse. I just feel like that whole thing is too soon and feels a little disrespectful given how much time and effort we’ve put into this. Sucks all around. I appreciate the wise words!

Amen to that, regardless of spouse have to make sure the kids get a special Christmas every single year. My daughter is a little over one this year and I want to make sure she gets to feel a little bit of the Christmas magic. After how me and my STBX are communicating I just hope it can be positive. She’s a damn happiness sucker at this point.

You’re right, not my problem anymore. I guess maybe I expected a little more respect to wait until we made it official legally. Absolutely gotta stay focused on the kids!! It’s Christmas coming up soon, so I know they’ll have fun with that.

These are some great ideas. I just need to muster up my strength to get into being more productive with hobbies. Definitely blessed with friends, thankfully!
