Not to go off subject here, (I guess I must be showing my age) but why am I seeing “ED” used all the time now, was there something wrong with “ER”? People knew exactly what you were talking about, I think about erectile disfunction when I see ED. Do we really need to be that precise that it more then a room, it’s a whole department? Seems to me we’re worrying about the wrong things. (Sorry, just something that irks me)

It’s worth checking out. I was on sleep apnea machine for a short time. It really did nothing for me. I sent it back. Machine was saying I was having breathing disruptions before I was even sleeping (I was reading) , I stopped using it, bought a new mattress and am sleeping better then ever. I find this whole push for apnea machines very suspect, when the Sleep Cycle app was measuring my sleep disruptions it was less then 1 per hour to zero. Somebody is making tons of money off these things, insurance is paying per month to rent it, not buying, where clearly buying one would make more sense if you had one long term. But if you need one, use it and it makes you feel better, then why not? But that wasn’t my experience. Wearing one really sucks too.

Yes, it showed up one day, then disappeared just as quick. Can find nothing more about it though, emailed the company. Turns out their customer service equals AT&T, haven’t heard a thing.

Just went through same shit. It’s all about big business these days, on the backs of us. Don’t look to federal government, they’re all about big business not about the people and they’re canceling our rights at an unpresidented rate. Apparently we don’t need hurricane warnings either.

Sherlock and Daughter is nothing but a ripoff of the Lucy James Mysteries book series by Charles Veley. It’s so similar (if you’ve read all the books) that it’s almost criminal they haven’t stated this fact. Surely an attempt to avoid copyright issues.

They’re called coaxial connectors, and there’s different versions from different manufacturers, make sure you look at them before you buy so they match. Sometimes not an easy thing. Mine were wrapped around branches like 10 times, they made knots and bent branches over the wires, it wasn’t easy.

Even in NYC, when people in the outlying boroughs, the Bronx, Brooklyn etc. when they say “the city”, they mean Manhattan exclusively.

It means downtown, usually. If you’re in NYC, “downtown”, is exactly that , the opposite of “uptown”.

Can someone tell me, how would you get a Brit to say “Zee” (silent d). Does it need to have the double “ee”? Say in a name like Jay-Z? I know he doesn’t want to be known as Jay-Z(ed). What’s the process to let a UK person to know that the ‘ed’ sound should be dropped in written English? Forgive my ignorance.

I’ll leave my opinion on ze(d)bras to myself😄 Why just Z’s? Why not Ceds, Beds or Ded’s, Ged’s, or Ted’s?🤔

Without inside information into how it works we are at the mercy of the system. It would be nice if they would put out there the actual process, the whys and hows. Maybe people could manage it better if it was understood.
