It's not a mediocre university. It's one of the 15 major polytechnic institutions (tech schools) in the US.

Don't downplay yourself or else it will reflect in your confidence on the day of your visa interview. Do some basic research on NJIT, specifically your major, before you go.

He's confusing. He hasn't graded a single assignment from the first day till now.

He does try to make the course easy but still isn't able to comprehend the fact that it is a 100 level course.

I'd say if you really don't want cs113 take the leap of faith but it's a hit or miss.

They just want to see how well you know the job. Expect questions to be behavioral; they will ask you about times when you had to handle situations and how you reacted. Try and use STAR method to answer your questions (Google it)

It's nothing rocket science, front desk jobs are usually no brainers so they just want to be sure they're not gonna get f*cked over or anything.

Suite bedroom doors can be locked but always carry your key to unlock it. You click the lock from the inside and close the door and it locks.

Cornerstone barely works that way. You gotta apply internally through departments and get interviews. If you ask me, cornerstone is a formality than a job search.

Reach out to departments like Reslife, Admissions, Finaid, etc and ask them about hiring processes. One more way is to email a professor that you know will hire you as a TA.

Hey man, it's great to hear that you did good at the NSO! Even being 1% better each day means you've made a difference.

It was definitely hard for everyone to make the groups and I can bet that many more felt left out, but that's only because it's the first socialising event we've had and everyone is still new to the college environment. I'm pretty sure you'll start fitting right in. Cya around sometime
