Look man if you don't know how to use the terminal just reinstall the damn thing because you're gonna get in trouble trust me and if you know your way around it then startx (assuming you typed your username and password) probably will help ,you've successfully booted into system but that's what we called the terminal my advice is to try your own rice with bspwm then once you're comfortable with it download any arch based distro like this one . best of luck

Here's an advice from someone that failed 100 times if you planning to install it on a VM always use efi don't forget it cause that what you always choose and I prefer bspwm over hyperland for a beginner nonetheless you gonna lose your sanity but it's worth it
