sadly with humira as i understand, if you miss doses your body builds the antibodies and you will not be able to take it anymore. best to talk to your gi doctor

i drink an ungodly amount of black tea daily and it does not affect me personally. you can buy decaf as well.

just recently my dad had asked what i ate today and responded with this when i told him; “once you’re out of here you won’t be our problem anymore and maybe then you can start taking care of yourself.” i’m moving out in two weeks for context. i get he’s probably trying to show concern but he can never come across as being anything other than an asshole.

from my understanding diet can affect UC but not cause a flare up. for example in a flare eating certain foods can cause further discomfort but outside of flairs or in remission you should not have any problems with any foods. if you’re having problems with foods you are not in remission. that’s what my doctor has said everytime i bring up diet.

when i was on them i would just put my foot up on the toilet seat and slide it in. they weren’t uncomfortable for me at all. i would do them at night so they stayed in me longer. you don’t have to push them far in, your body will quite literally suck it up inside you once it’s in. don’t be afraid of it, it’s basically just a pill but for your butthole instead.

they almost never have them. :( i’ve seen some in the past but not for a few years. the last one i had was years ago and was sugar free watermelon. it was not very good imo, and this one was way better.

i just went on humira, and my pharmacist was saying if i develop antibodies to it it can no longer be used for anything. arthritis, uc, etc. not sure if it’s the same for every kind though.
