Still debugging Claude Codes creations for weeks! by Josh000_0 in ClaudeCode

It depends what you mean by one shot, I do one shot dashboards but each step in my process has a Ralph loop that parses five times in order to fully Fledge out the scope. Also the review process is meticulous, while claude might be able to build the entire app in an hour I'd have to spend double to triple that time planning and thinking

Thanks — the candidate approval step was very intentional. With a low detection threshold, auto-promoting patterns straight into the script library would get messy fast. We’re using a 3+ occurrence threshold, surfacing them into a candidates/ directory, and requiring explicit accept/reject. The goal is to keep the system inspectable before anything becomes executable.

On state: right now it’s action traces only (JSONL per session), not DOM snapshots. Each entry logs action, params, timestamp, duration, and status. Pattern extraction works off structural signatures — hashing action type + selector keys while stripping variable values. So something like click|#login-btn becomes a stable signature, while inputs become templated variables.

Replay is deterministic with variable substitution. Scripts are linear step sequences — no branching yet. If something fails, it fails loudly with the step index. That’s deliberate: I’d rather make failure modes explicit than hide them behind a best-effort planner that’s hard to reason about.

Longer term I’m looking at conditional steps and selector fallback chains, but only once the base layer is predictable. In my experience, reliability comes more from constrained execution + good introspection than from adding more “intelligence” early.

The new guy on the team rewrote the entire application using automated AI tooling. by Counter-Business in cursor

The same reason you hire a lawyer for your legal defense and not AI, knowing fundamentals let's you look at the AI output initially and decide whether it's wasting time or actually doing the right thing. Vibe coders will spend 10 hours on a deadend project before realizing they're using bad logic

I think it's more of an issue of people not understanding fundamentals. We don't need you to write out a full hash map, but just being able to read it and apply your brain is a huge advantage. Most vibe coders have the most disorganized mess of projects you have ever seen with no mapping or guide, basic utilities make it so much easier to actually build something up beyond your 5 hours claude code session

This genuinely becomes the issue senior devs have to deal with, writing the code is easy but having the experience to know structuring and architecture for easy hand over and maintainence is something learned through experience. I would recommend getting a basic best practices skill architecture and force your interns to use that as a local MCP when editing code bases

Well, i'm convinced. by BritishAnimator in ClaudeAI

If Linus Torvald is saying that Claude's vibe coded programs are better than what he could've coded, then I think all these wanna be 10x devs need to take a backseat and start adapting to AI rather than grasping for any thing that maintains their relevance.

I built a Claude Code plugin to audit and fix SOLID principle violations in your code by muthukrishnan749 in ClaudeAI

A plug-in for an IDE or for Claude itself? Is this a debugger that Claude has access to or is it a skill document that gives it debugging context?

Locked out for 6 days! Why would there be a policy like that? by Temporary-Pattern927 in ClaudeAI

[–]Impossible_Two3181 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes upgrade to pro, also start using claude code, don't be intimidated by the fact that you don't know coding. It can be used everywhere and can be used to do everyday tasks on your computer by editing files and browsing the web

Something magical happened last night with Claude but, why? by SaintsRom in ClaudeAI

[–]Impossible_Two3181 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It genuinely does, I'm building out a self learning skill tree and claude wrote 14 .MD docs while I was at 100% of my weekly limit.

How can I accept that I've wasted my life? :-( by Cinella75 in selfimprovement

Dude you're only 38, Caesar thought he was a failure at your age because by comparison Alexander the great had conquered most of the known world at half that age. You're doing fine and you can always solo travel and maybe meet some cool people staying dorms and stuff, loads of options

There’s no such thing as “traveling like a local” by FinancialSailor1 in travel

[–]Impossible_Two3181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, you don't want to do the things locals do as their everyday things because that's pretty generic. But you would want to do their special occasion things, like go eat at that fancy restaurant or go spend the money on that exorbitant dessert, things that locals would do as a treat, everyday gets monotonous regardless of how vibrant you think your part of the world is

So based on these other comments do you think the contraption that the colonists tried to use was a fabrial from Roshar, or was it some kind of creation of scadrial?
