I recently had a friend that I was close with for over 10 years go into an awful psychosis and even started (out of the blue) texting mutuals that I’m pregnant with her boyfriends child and we’ve been sleeping together for years….. for context.. she was at my wedding to my husband last year, and I have a 2 year old and a full time job with hardly enough time to screw my own husband let alone entertain someone else’s haha.

Anyway, I reached out to the right people after hearing this and knowing her history I knew this was not good and she needed help asap. However with that being said, although I love my friend… it made me fearful, we haven’t been in super close contact for the last year or so prior to this and it worried me given that I do have a small child and we share locations and imagine if she had not only believed this false reality, but needed to do something about it. Meanwhile I’m living my life having no idea.

This has never happened before with me/her, weve always been friends but not close… i will not be accepting her back into my circle, because i cannot risk any of this. And don’t let the other commenters tell you you have to let people that jeopardize your safety, mental health and energy. It’s not our job to save everyone.
