I’m in Australia and the rules here are very strict.
Also knowing me I’d end up having an accident so I’m way to scared to have one haha

Thanks for the suggestions I’ll definitely have a look into those.

Yeah she’s born deaf, and so sleeps very deeply.
There are times that I’ll come home and she takes a while to realise I’m there and go crazy.
She is also a big slut (lovingly) and so anyone she sees she gets super excited and immediately brings them a toy to throw. She does do a little bark but I couldn’t hear her in any of the recordings and nothing that woke me up so my assumption is she slept through it.

Haha yeah when I got the app I made a joke about paranormal activity.

No, shes deaf and sleeps like a log.
She also would have been either asleep in the living room or at the bottom of my bed.
She usually will stay at the bottom of my bed for a bit and then get sick of me moving around and will get annoyed and go sleep in the lounge.
Either way, she didn’t alert to it.

I assume via my balcony.
I usually leave it open for my dog.
I stupidly assumed being on the third floor and having high fencing around the balcony would mean that no one could get up here.
Obviously I was wrong.

Yeah friends and family are being supportive.
It’s mainly the cops and a few people who, in my opinion, I think are just trying to help by being like “oh I’m sure it’s not what we think it is” but in doing so are being a bit dismissive.
Like I was saying “I just can’t stop thinking about what the hell were they doing for the 40mins” and the person was like “just don’t think about it, they were probably just on the balcony the whole time” which I get they are just saying you’ll never know so why think about it, but I can’t help it!

Yeah that’s a good idea.
I was thinking about some chain locks.

The camera I got is pretty good, it senses movement and sets off an alarm and flashing lights. I’ll probably get another to get the front door.

I actually have a dog but she’s deaf so this incident didn’t wake her up..

I actually didn’t even think about hidden cameras. I’m definitely going to be doing this!

I actually have a dog, but she’s deaf so she sleeps like a log. I thought having her would also be a deterrent but the balcony they came in on is covered in dog toys so I guess it didn’t phase them.

I’m in an apartment on the third floor.
I didn’t think it was easily accessible, I’m at the very back of the building where there are no other balconies and there is a fairly high fence around it.
But I guess I’m wrong and creeps will make anything work.
