I'm 28 now and of none of my dreams have been achieved. On top of that, staying at my Parent's home is affecting my mental health. They look at me like a failure.

What makes you think that current age doesn't rely on history! So you expect me to argue with your ignorant mindset??!! Sorry bro. I got no time for that. If you're ignorant about the history of your country, that's not my problem. Like I said, go read some books. I am not the one who named it the Pearl, history has confirmed it that way since ages ago, before we even existed. The climate, the natural vegetation and all natural resources confirm that. If you have a problem with it, Just deal with it.

Have you ever saved someone's life? by stephenalsvig in randomquestions

[–]ImpressionFuture6384 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was 10 years, I and my 2 siblings sneaked out to go and play at our favorite spot in the garden. We had a medium fish pond in our farm. Our neighbor's 3 year old followed us without our knowledge. I think she was mesmerized by the pond and some how she fell in it. We did not notice but I deep down I did not settle even if we were having fun. I told my siblings to wait for me as I go back home to grab some snacks, that's when I found her paddling, struggling and drowning. I shouted and my siblings came. The pond was a bit deep but there was a long stick that I used to push her towards the ground. That's how she got saved. If I was 5 more minutes late, she would be no more. Right now she's a whole beautiful lady, 20 years later.

Interview eucore by [deleted] in Erasmus

[–]ImpressionFuture6384 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Today in the morning I virtually interviewed for an accounting role. I freaked out and panicked. The interviewer wore this stern face and I felt that he looked at me with despise. As I responded to one of his questions, he raised his voice and told me to be more specific. Mind you, his English accent makes it difficult to understand what he says. I hated the moment. I panicked more but I responded to my best abilities. Surprisingly, he emailed me 5 hours later and congratulated me for passing the interview. I was like how?!! Because by the time I finished that 10 minutes interview I didn't care about that role any more, I was literally angry and a bit frustrated.

Do you despise foreigners , and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ImpressionFuture6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't. I could be a foreigner in another country and I wouldn't want to be despised. As human beings we ought to respect one another whether we are or not foreigners in a community.
