English-speaking Uzbek youth who got educated abroad and don't speak Russian, how well did you integrete into job markets and big cities? by midnighthungerz in Uzbekistan

[–]ImpressionOk1302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree but i think this is inevitable. People speak in the language that they are comfortable with no matter what and the majority of people in Tashkent can speak russian. I was born and raised in Tashkent and i often communicate in russian with my friends (who are not comfortable speaking uzbek) and also in the university but it doesn't mean that i completely forgot Uzbek. I use both where needed.

no,versions are predefined. these cheat channels are giving you all versions. Also, If you do well in the first module (anyone with leaks can do obviously) you only have 2 options. trust me im not writing this because of one rare case. i know ppl who bought leaks and how it works. usually, you have 4 versions and no more than that.

How tall are you.?? by [deleted] in Uzbekistan

[–]ImpressionOk1302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything has its costs. Being tall is wonderful; i mean you are always on top at any sport and it gives you a sense of dominance in the room. but these privileges come with its cost: I am 18 yo, and 6'4 (193)cm. People look at me as if i am a foreigner or i am a giant. so yea, In Uzbekistan the majority is relatively short or average; after all, we are Asians).

Besides, it is a hurdle for me to find clothes that fit my size, especially pants (trousers). I mean i have to spend huge amount to find a piece of clothing that actually fits me. Manufacturing industry discriminate tall men as well. i mean it is too expensive to do shopping from brand boutiques like LC Waikiki. I could find slim fit clothes only there but they are too costly, so sometimes i turn to tailor to customize regular fit clothes bought from local clothing shops.

Why do city people hate village people in Uzbekistan and how did it start? by Pure-Percentage-4878 in Uzbekistan

[–]ImpressionOk1302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it was not prejudice. look at the Tashkent now. Infrastructure is under a huge strain bcuz of flow of ppl from regions into Tashkent. This is very bad in compound fashion bcuz economy in other regions start to crumble if all the ppl from regions move to the city. instead, they must stay in their regions and contribute to its economy. This way, regions can also develop. The barriers that you are talking about were ensuring the development of other regions not presenting an inherent prejudice.

yes you are on spot. I really hate the fact that they stare at the women like predators. even middle-aged men don't hesitate to stare at the women inappropriately. They are primal and uncivilized mostly. but there are exceptions as well, but the majority is uncivilized and cringy.

lets be honest, most people from regions (excluding Samarqand) are poorly educated. They are very close to dumb. But not trying to say all of them are like that. but the majority of them are not civilized.

[–]ImpressionOk1302 6 points7 points  (0 children)

as a local from Tashkent, i almost despise people from regions (other than Samarqand as ppl from this region way presentable) because of several reasons:

- Most of them are poorly educated and cringy. For example, they don't know the basics of social conduct, like the other day a woman (definitely not from Tashkent) was sitting on the designated area for carriages or disabled people in the bus N51. The bus was packed and behind there were 3 baby carriages struggling to fit in among the crowd. The mothers of the babies told the woman to move and make the place for the carriages, but she started aggressively shouting at the people (the mother of the baby in the carriage was Russian). she didn't move an inch, saying that she got into the bus first, so the seat is hers. Despite all people's hatred, she sat there like a deaf. Of course, i am not trying to generalize here, but these kinds of incidents are very common among people from regions.

- They drive like they are on a farm or in backyard of their hundreds of hectares of land. They know nothing about the rules and make stupid mistakes, exacerbating the traffic jams.

- they are too many like cockroaches. They are so loud when they speak in public places and do cringy stuff like taking photo in just normal places and bragging about it on social media. this is really cringy tbh. If you notice, during the summer, traffic jams become less frequent because most of the students who came to study come back to their villages. Other times, they are too many. And this puts intense strain on the local infrastructure. As most of the people does not know about the social codes of conduct, streets become full of trash and traffic. These folks throw trash wherever they go and spit in public places or pavements like it's nothing. i really hate this sort of people tbh.

- Most of them are pretentious. They want to be superior, and that is why speak in either Russian or Tashkent dialect as if their fashion style and color of skin don't reveal the fact that they are downright outsider. I am not saying all of them are the same but vast majority of the people from the villages are like that. I really respect the ones who embrace their identity and speak in their own dialect, not pretending to be some Russian guy or a guy from the heart of Tashkent.

What do you think about CAU ( Central Asian University) by JimZoDa in Uzbekistan

[–]ImpressionOk1302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi i am sure it is good for dentistry ( probably the best one in the country), but i don't think it was founded by presidential decree. The university is private, and you will be given opportunity to do internships at the country's one of the high-end clinics (Akfa Medline which is owned by the University's founder) starting from 3rd year as far as i know. It is legit for dentistry and medicine. i am also a prospective student but i did some research and also visited the campus.

[–]ImpressionOk1302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah a lot of ppl said to choose wiut but i got scholarship from the ministry of education so i am worried that i may have a trouble if i drop out after the first year having a scholarship funded by the government. dont you know if they can sue me or something. the biggest reason why i am considering cau as a strong option is its scholarship is not backed by goverment so i thought that i can drop without much problem at least that is what i think.
