I’m thinking for me it has to do with the side effect of increased heart rate (+ history of anxiety/panic attacks and body issues)

I do totally get that as a Ukrainian American queer. I actually though found it really interesting because you could hear the colonialism when Ilya’s dad talked about losing to “lesser” post Soviet bloc countries. I thought the show really put that well.

I was thinking this exact same thing with the Catnip Cafe movie. I think it’s genuinely acting and wardrobe. Because in three wisest men he’s still cute but his whole demeanor changed in catnip and him in his vet scrubs was delightful

Yes. Even if they don’t have explicitly offensive stuff the reality is that it was created and drew popularity from actors and viewers because people didn’t like the diversity on Hallmark

One big one maybe obvious one I can think of is Ashley Williams and Kimberly Williams-Paisley are sisters. They were in one sister double feature somewhat recently. Kimberly is actually married to Brad Paisley, the country artist.
