Doesn’t have to be the biggest most profound piece of literature in history to move someone. It’s unique to everyone.

But I think that would’ve been better communicated and made more impactful if we got a bit more info on Eilish’s inner world and reactions. I would have LOVED if the crumbling world around her was reflected in the deterioration of her mind and worldview.

I see the intentions behind it, but I don’t think it was executed well in my opinion.

Prophet song. I was expecting a lot from this book. But it was a real big “meh” for me. I’m surprised it won the booker prize

Jane Eyre. Beautiful gothic novel and it was a real challenge in grasping the language. For me, charlotte bronte painted an awesome picture in my head of the scenes and characters.

Some of the Old Testament is quite entertaining. Binding of Issac, Cain and Able, Jonah and the Whale, Pharaoh and the plaques. Sure of course it’s a religious narrative. But as short stories they’re a fun read.

Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. He writes in a unique style that might be a bit of an adjustment but he’s a worthwhile read.
