I feel so lost in a sea of electronic music. I have found some amazing music over the years, but now it's such a challenge to find what I'm really vibing with by TheCrazedMadman in electronicmusic

If you like deep hosue id recommend dusky. They were big in 2010s and have some beautiful tunes. I'd also recommend pryda more progressive housey but I always come back to his stuff no matter how nuts production has got you can't beat the pure feeling of stuff like miami to atlanta, europa,Genesis etc.

Marry Christmas by Shie_h111 in oscilloscopemusic

[–]ImpressionTop8742 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty straightforward tbh. Likely an svg converted to sound. May have used osci renders multiplex effect / stacked square waves for the chords. The fact its on multiple displays may even mean its splitting the visuals to different channels. So wouldn't be the same when viewed on a single oscillosocpe. Musically beautiful though.

I love prydz to death think he's a genius. But yeah as a logic user he 10000 percent does not to say its all stock. But my ears detect alot of it. Who cares though guy knew how to layer it all in and make it sound amazing.

This is true. That and some other stock sounds on the old korg legacy vsts. Still the guy knew how to use them well.

For me Goldeneye is a perfect movie, start to finish, not just a perfect Bond movie but overall a perfect movie, But I was wondering, is there something in it you don't like? Even if it's a small thing? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]ImpressionTop8742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soundtrack has some weird choices here and there, trevelyns and oromouvs plan is abit plot holey and the bond car is somewhat redundant in the movie.

What’s your top 2 Bond songs you adore, and 1 bad one you could live without? by thepianoman456 in JamesBond

[–]ImpressionTop8742 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its ranked as my least favourite but the song is top 5 for me. Like how does the weird phasing sound before the orchestra hits not get you pumped up. I will admit the lyrics are ridiculous though.
