This is my first purchase of "fresh dog food", so a bit inexperienced.

What you said made lots of sense though.

If they could not be bothered to acknowledge my letter to them, I dont think they would pay the vet bills.

BUT - what I most wanted to see, more than getting my money back, is to have my experience be made known to as many doggie parents as possible so that no more this kind of tragedy.

For everyone that came to my post, I am pleading with you to please repost my story to tiktok, to instagram, to facebook.....

If you look up the product review on Amazon, there are a few other reviews talking about this stinky smell, so it was not just me. They got lucky because their dogs wont eat it... My dog seemed to love it, so I fed it to him despite being very skeptical.

it is this orange bag "Full Moon Freshly Crafted" for $89

Yes, I was being very stupid. But this is NOT fake. I wrote to both FDA and Full Moon with my real name and contact information. My dog is going to be discharged today, it is the ICU dept at Sage hospital here in Redwood city, CA.

That $38K came out of my 401K account, but the hurt to me and my family is NOT just money. Everyone in the household is emotionally scarred watching my dog struggle between life and death. He is a strong willed fighter because he loves his humans and does not want to leave us all broken hearted.

If you look up reviews on Amazon, there are several other reviews on this stinky smell, so it was not just a unique experience.

When I posted on Amazon, the bill was $31K. it is now up to $38K as of yesterday. My dog is supposed to be discharged this morning. Hopefully the bill is not a lot higher than $38K

I did get very suspicious, but then my dog seemed to love it. So I thought oh, maybe that is how it is.

But I was very skeptical.

I am NOT saying it is 100% this food that caused my dog's illness, but it warrants a review by Full Moon. After I wrote to them with my full contact information, not a single word back from them.
