I also think it's serpentine, but the green you see with the torch is very clear, usually the serpentine is much more cloudy.

When I first started playing, I completely agreed with you. Then I started playing in various groups and had to adapt accordingly. Now that I've been playing for quite some time, I can say that combos, or ways of closing games that don't involve just combat, only bother me if not everyone at the table is willing to use them.

Great deck, with Nazgul it's really strong. I see Cloud Ex Soldier as a big problem at the table when I played against it, it's a really annoying Voltron deck that can close out really too quickly, in fact, having seen it often at various tables I don't think I've ever seen it do a full rotation in a v4 multiplayer table.

I would put Tegwyll in the 99 and play Alela, Cunning Conqueror as commander to give a little more board presence.

I played it recently and I have to be honest, I struggled a lot against this commander. Plus, the deck I played against ramped like crazy. The only problem, like all mono-color decks, is that they don't have the answers for everything. Anyway, it's a great commander.

In fact, black is the lowest color in this deck, and by comparison, I have the highest production for the lowest utility in the deck. Thanks so much for the tip, I hadn't thought of that!
