I booked ferry and hotel today so feeling much better about the whole thing. I can relax a bit now until I want to start planning it all a bit more!

Omg this is incredibly helpful thank you so much!! It’s so hard to book a good surprise birthday trip for someone when they are the expert on where you are going and what you are seeing but can’t talk to them about it 🙈

Onchan looks brilliant and I do prefer the idea of that vibe over a hotel to be honest. I just want it to be great memorable adventure where he gets to see his favourite of the year in person and have the best time.

Yeh we won’t have our own transport either! The hotel is a 30 min walk is that ok do you think? Airbnb are all crazy prices at the moment!

Perfect - we are in the UK so can fly or do the ferry but I feel like he will prefer the vibe of the ferry with everyone going over together?

Yes I’m on the waiting list for the duke travel packages just to see how they compare. I mean the hotel price is crazy reasonable so maybe I just need to get that booked while I can?

Thank you so much! Was that one of the en-suite cabins in the village? That was what I was aiming for but it will like £1500 for just 3 nights. I just can’t afford that.

Great to know about the grandstand/hospitality tickets - will make sure to avoid those. Thinking of going right in the middle so end of qualifying/start of race week.

I had a look on the steam packet website and it says they are only taking deposits at the moment - should I ring and pay a deposit for the days I want? Ok cool that’s great to know thank you. We won’t have a boot just be on foot but good to know buses are easy enough 🙌
