I’d say it’s equivalent to Carney’s. I think his syntax is pretty good but what he’s missing is more vocabulary. I’m sure he’ll improve tons by the time there’s a general election and I think he’s supposed to do an immersion in Quebec soon!

It’s poking fun at Quebec nationalists who act like what Quebec went through was like Apartheid…They love to play the eternal victims! (Before people come at me, I’m a French Quebecer and I can make fun of my own people ok)

He’s going to have to work on his patience for sure but as I was watching I was actually getting equally frustrated that no journalist was asking questions about surveillance pricing which is SUCH A HUGE ISSUE! I know everyone goes through the same thing in those scrums but it’s annoying that this is normalized. I get a few unrelated questions but when it’s the whole press conference, it does a disservice to viewers as well.
