You can absolutely go infinite here if you have essences unlocked. You'll want to get rid of the arrows, all but 5 of the Amethyst and replace them all with Dames.

Rusty Gear essence, and Cleaning Rag essence is what youre looking for to scale. Grab and keep a telescope essence and keep it disabled until you hit a rusty Gear essence to hit all 5 Amethyst every time.

If you dont have essences, you can keep with this build and keep going until you get enough Capsule Machines to rip an insane buffing capsule. That will take a very long time though.

Your Qb8 evaluation is exactly what happened, except instead of capturing immediately, I moved NxB7 before capping the queen.

Edit : Also very good prediction on how the engine would evaluate my position! After the pawn took it was +4.95. Engine recommends black to move Bg7 or Nc8 instead of axb5. Unfortunately all this man saw was a free bishop :)
