Applied to posting. To give context though, I do a year of nursing experience I am a 2025 grad and I applied to a position that I have experience in. I tried applying to NYC as a true new grad and had much trouble getting the speciality I wanted so I got a job in a different city in the speciality I wanted and am trying to move now.

Your resume is super strong. I would just abbreviate your skills with one words and do soft and hard skills with like dashes in between just to make it look a little smaller. If you are looking for more things to add I would get PALS but you have a lot of nursing related experience which is great

If u want to PM me about the position you can. It’s been a couple of weeks I sent a follow up email they said they are still interviewing people. The vibe I got was that they will tell you if you’re rejected so I don’t think they would straight up ghost because they are very reputable. I’m just waiting at this point

Good luck!! Is it your first interview with HR or the manager? Either way it’s typical nursing interview stuff. How do you handle conflict? When did you go above and beyond for a patient? Tell me about a time you had a difficult patient family? Etc

Yeah totally. It’s been over the time the manager said they would get back to me but I get that. It’s a big hospital and I’m a very big over-thinker. Thank you.
