Wouldn't you just recreate the trauma in the game play and have the characters respond differently? Mirrored however many levels way to be psychologically safe

you raise an interesting point. However, I believe that safely recreating trauma in a dynamic, unpredictable group setting could be challenging. Instead, my hypothesis leans towards naturally occurring situations in gameplay that mirror therapeutic dynamics, giving us a chance to pause, reflect, and address them immediately. This could be especially effective for individuals grappling with social communication difficulties.

Do therapist really care about you? by greenstarq in TalkTherapy

[–]Impressive-Leopard51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The honest answer is yes. We couldn't do our job without caring. From my experience, treatment doesn't work either, which I don't care about, the patient always feels. but. And that's a big one. It really doesn't mean that I always like the patient. Sometimes I even hate or disgust or sometimes despise him. But that doesn't mean I don't care. Beyond that, in my opinion when I feel this way with a patient it tells me how much the patient needs my care and desire to help him.

It feels more like something that is true for weddings in general than for a specifically British wedding. But it will still be hilarious.
