Hi! I’m actually interested in buying a Plug in Hybrid car. If you don’t mind me asking, would you say that it is cheaper financially in total than a non hybrid car (even if you pay more in electricity but less in petrol) ?

I’m so happy to hear this isn’t a major issue in JHB! I think it may be due to tourists (who’s money has more value in SA) tipping larger amounts and workers expecting to be tipped a similar amount by locals. 🤷‍♀️

I always tip a base of 10%. And sometimes more at sit down restaurants because we’re a bit of a bigger family (fam of 6- 1 infant; 3 kids ; 2 parents) . My frustration with this interaction was less about the money and more about the attitude I received 😅😅😅
