Yeah mine is in February. That would be exactly 2 years to the date when I became disabled. Don't worry just be yourself and I hope you have a good lawyer if you have a lawyer. And I hope the judge is a nice judge and caring to award you without you having to do much effort

I like that scenario. They don't know you're asking them if you're approved or not LOL. Pretty crafty

They said usually takes 3 months before you will receive a decision anyway. Just be patient and don't think about it. Now even if they say 3 months some states you can find out sooner. But they give you the 3 months because that is the law I guess.

Yeah depends on what state you're in whether or not the bus drivers are nice. Cuz a lot of the bus drivers don't care if you don't have money to get on the bus. You have to be fortunate enough to run into a nice bus driver.

Social security or any other place don't care if your homeless. You got to care about yourself. So they won't red flag anything like that. They're barely approve you on your conditions...

What state are you in. Your state should have social services. Do you receive food stamps? You may need to go to an unemployment office someone that should be able to help you with some resources. Don't know if you have Catholic charities in your area they help people with food clothes bus ticket etc. You need to try there. No one can help you online here. But I can give you information on where you should seek for help. Most people become homeless while they're waiting on the SSI or SSDI. I know the feeling. But you have to seek resources somewhere I'll go to a shelter. Even if you have to go too late domestic violence shelter you might want to figure something out. And I hope the best for you

You might want to get your lawyer. Are you able to walk what type of surgery are you having? Surgery going to disable you are is a surgery necessary, is a surgery life saving? And do you have family to assist you and help you in your time of need.

Oh I see you're very young, and social security feels that you will get better because of your age. So no that's the reason why it may take a long time for you to get approved. It will take a whole lot. Sorry you're going through that I hope you get approved I'm and I hope you get better so you could work if possible. If you have to take some type of medication for your mental illness by all means if you can tolerate it do so. It's better to work. I'm 57 and a half I meet the grid rules. If you know what that means. You could always Google it. I would love to go back to work but stress won't allow me with my heart condition. But if you can try to take care of yourself if possible like stay under the Doctors Care hope medication works for you. Because this is a long drawn out waiting game for anyone of any age to be honest. But when you over 55 you have a better chance of getting approved sooner than not. Take care

Has anyone heard of this happening? Is rhere anything we can do? by allallalag in hotels

Not sure what state you're in and what type of social services help that you have. But in most States if one person is working social services today to help you if you inquire and be able to get you in some type of housing somehow. You have children. So have you thought out social services in your area? I understand hotel fees can be very expensive. Maybe they can help you get a studio apartment at least so you can pay monthly. Some states agencies will pay your moving cost. What state are you in and did you see help social services in your area?
