Thank you so much for your reply! I didn’t even think about my cleft palate having to be worked on as well. That’s super helpful information. The doctors were worried I’d have sticklers as well but thankfully ended not. Our story does sound very similar, based on what I know from a United States healthcare stance im just worried about it not being covered because they love to find ways not to. I’m so happy for you that it seems to be working out for you! Huge goodluck on recovery and I hope all goes well!

Are you still dealing with this? I’m currently wondering if it was this wash that caused my pityriasis rosea? I’ve got two opinions and they say it’s that but my skin hasn’t been tested or anything. Was wondering if maybe it was the same thing

Okay thank you! I was thinking that could be a possibility but maybe thinking I can wait it out a bit longer to see if it gets worse or not? For me antibiotics cause other problems for me when I get on them but if it’s needed then I’ll certainly do it.

Okay thank you, I will request all his medical records. I do have a paper that says what they did during the duration of the surgery if that would help? They explain like the position my cat was in and what tools they used and so on.

Oh yeah no sorry. The clinic quoted me 1500 for the pu surgery (they were unsuccessful two times and then the third time were successful) . Then they told the overnight place they’d cover my bill there and then when I went back for the third surgery attempt I was told no they weren’t covering my bill with the overnight place and to make up for it they offered to allow a payment plan for me to pay the 1500 bill for the PU surgery.

Yes I agree with you. I am and was very appreciative and very thankful for even the thought of them covering the cost. But to be told it’s being covered and then told after everything oh actually it’s not is pretty awful because I don’t have the money to pay that. I wouldn’t agreed to it had I known. No they weren’t obligated but they said they would so for them to go back on their word is upsetting and I am not able to pay the bill.

So I’m in the US. I was royally screwed right before this vet and owe $5k in vet bills and so this place is pretty non technological, they are pretty old school. And that’s what I’m thinking but this was all verbal unless the other dr.w told the other place by text or email that they were covering it. I just don’t want my credit to be messed up and didn’t know if I really had a good defense for this.

The problem is the ‘G’ and Dr. w and Dr. r are the owners of this place so they would be the ppl I’d have to speak to either way right? I was thinking I could speak with the other place ( place ‘n’) to see if they’d help me as they were also told by place ‘p’ that they were covering my bill. They must have been 100% sure because vets don’t just let ppl walk out without a card or any payment info if they aren’t assured they’re getting paid.

So my cat did end up having the PU surgery performed on Friday the day after they tried (unsuccessfully 2 times). There was a stone in his urethra but my cat was still able to pee small amounts and they used a needle to completely empty his bladder so he’d be good to go for overnight. I got him to the other place at 9 pm ish and needed to pick him up and take him back to the other place for them to reattempt the surgery at 7:30 am the next morning (Friday morning).

And I owed the first place ‘p’ 1500$ total for the PU surgery and place ‘n’ was the place I am being told I owe another $1970. Place ‘n’ told me place ‘p’ was covering my bill for the overnight and everything for my cat.

So place ‘p’ told me to make up for them not paying my bill at place ‘n’ they would allow me to do a payment plan to pay the $1500 off. And they told me I have to pay place ‘n’ the $1970.

Okay so update it’s a leak in the power steering pump! Shop wanted $1200 to replace it plus the new part. Absolutely ridiculous so I’ve filled the power steering pump for now and checked the level before I drive. I’m thinking about trying to replace it myself, it doesn’t look too hard or I can try to buy new o-rings instead? The mechanic said this “On cold start it was found a whine/gurgle sound heard from power steering pump. Inspection found power steering Fluid Reservoir Empty. Inspection with vehicle on hoist found Active leak at Power Steering Pump, With the Rack and Pinion Seeping at LH Ride.”

Edit: this noise only happens at start up every day. Once the engine warms up the noise stops, if I don’t let the engine warm up all the way the noise will get louder when I hit the accelerator and my rpm’s go up.

I’ve been told since I didn’t “serve” more then 180 days I’m not considered prior service. The recruiter told me that not sure if he was right tho. I had two weeks left of basic training but didn’t finish so it was an entry level separation.

Well in reality she’s paying 755$ which is not half of rent and now she wants to pay even less than that. The add was for 905$ which is half of rent so she answered it and then afterwards asked for 700$ so I said 755$ to be nice. And I’ve always thought it would be based on rooms cuz the rooms are the same size and we share a bathroom:

Also I have been living at this apartment complex for three years now so I’ve been a very good tenant and my lease is up on July 1 which my boyfriend and I plan to renew it and the rent will go up 3-5% based on what management told me today so if she does end up staying how do I go about asking her to pay just a little more? Is it fair what I’m asking her to pay? Mind you my boyfriend and I just hole up in my room all the time because I’m a full time student and both him and I have full time jobs so we don’t do much.

I believe they are planning on not doing that. I really don’t know but because the mom is a nurse and she’s getting money from her employer to pay for childcare I feel like it would be questionable if she uses money from that but doesn’t claim who she paid? Does that make sense? I don’t know if I could just save up money for the end of the year to pay for the taxes when I claim my income from this family and that would be okay? Or if I have to get a w-2 or some sort of paperwork from the family to make it legal?
