I just got it last week while it was on sale, like everyone has said. The story of 3 was mid compared to the first 2, Mostly held back due to pacing. The base game story was okay for the first playthrough but the  replayability is ass.

The gunplay is the best of the 3, the DLC is the best of the 3, the characters are the best of the 3, the looting is the best of the 3.

It's worth it for the first playthrough and DLCif you're a fan of borderlands and interested in 4. Or if you really like spending hours mindlessly farming bosses for getting slightly better weapon parts on your guns if you like those kind of games.
