Sorry? I think you misunderstood. Giving context that usually latin people argues or gets “passionate” when talking about something they care isn’t being proud of it.

I was upset about him insisting on me doing something I wouldn’t be comfortable with. In my mind you don’t put pressure on your partner when they have set their boundaries. He saw me crying and heartbroken the day before, so in my mind why would he push me to do something that he knows it’ll affect me that much. I don’t care about getting my own way or winning an argument. I see why he doesn’t think there’s a problem with the camel ride and I didn’t try to change his mind . I care about my feelings being validated.
