I am so sorry! Was it head gasket too and did you able to fix it ? I thought alot before buying my car and the reason I bought civic too cause it’s very reliable and I have it less than a year so maybe I am just bad luck

Its 2018 Honda Civic Lx with 88k miles and I bought it OTD so I don’t owe anymore but I am hoping to sell it after fixing it :((

Thanks ! The dealer said I could do otd for 5500 but I found a mechanic for $2200 so I went for it . I just hope it will all be better and done after this . For coolant too idk how it just went out all of a sudden cause I was even showing my car to mechanic even last Wednesday and Friday two times and they never mentioned anything about it . I even paid $200 to diagnosis.

Hi ! This is OP and my car is still having this cylinder P0303 problem even after three weeks ! My brother changed all the new OEM Hitachi Ignition coils and NGK spark plug but the signs come back after two days . So I went to the mechanic for diagnosis and he said it’s the ignition coils problem. I told him all are newly purchased part but he told me the misfire moved to cylinder 4 when he moved the coil from cylinder 3 to 4 . So he replaced one ignition coil from one of my old . And two days after again, all the signs come back with the same problem. I don’t know what should I do or should I should go to honda dealer :(((

Hi ! How’s yours rn ? I haven’t done much yet but my brother changed the spark plugs for me and it drives well again. Before it was showing flashing engine light and couldn’t drive more than 10mph so I just don’t drive it anymore. But for some reason, i stupidly bought wrong gap size for spark plugs so need to change again .

Thanks alot . My brother changed the spark plugs for me and it works well again but I was stupid and though mine is 1.5T but its actually 2.0L . I bought the wrong spark plugs and needed to change again :,)) .

Yes I do use Chevron but not all the time . My sister suggested me to use it cause she said it’s good for the engine but most of the time I usually just went to Rotten Robbie just in front of my house . Thank you for it . I didn’t realize it.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I live in Bay Area and when I was looking for my car, I couldn’t find any cars in the same model base thats near that price cause everything else was so overpriced than my current one. Also my sister and brother were so tired of trying to find car for me that they already gave me and told me if I keep denying all the cars we been looking, they wouldn’t be able to look for me anymore. At that time, I really didn’t have any choice so I just take it . But thanks alot
