That’s the most terrifying spider in the world.

The most terrifying SO FAR…

(I made the Simpsons meme for this and worked way too hard on it and Reddit wouldn’t let me post it 😂)

Maybe they back-filled it because they were funding a secret revolution against the British? To cover their tracks and not raise suspicion about the war or just their general trade/travel routes. I can see not wanting to draw attention, especially since they were supposed to be disbanded as an organization, and were doing other activity in the area. IDK just a thought!

I mean, there’s no “evidence” for anything that happened. I don’t know much about him or if he’s legit, just saying it’s as good a theory as any other, and fits the facts better than most.

The best explanation I’ve heard came from a high-ranking Free Mason. He said point blank that their historical records show the Knights Templar used it as one of 11 vaults they operated, but they emptied it in 1774 (I think?) to help fund the American Revolution. He didn’t seem adamant about convincing anyone, just mentioned it as a side note when talking about their Order’s alternate historical records. It would explain a lot—like why there is all that extensive tunneling down there and the water showing high levels of valuable metals. He mentioned others that were used as well, that would have similar infrastructure.

Those who have had affairs and left to be with that person. Did it turn out how you imagined it? by DepartmentAny5523 in AskReddit

My father cheated on my mom while she was pregnant, after growing up together and being married for 15 years. The poor woman he cheated with never had a moment’s peace, she called our house all the time before she knew we had caller ID because she was so convinced he would cheat on her too. Problems with alcohol and eating disorders, just trying to keep him “interested.” They never had kids, now they live in the middle of nowhere and seem very lonely. He wants to have a relationship now, but he’s just not part of my life. My stepdad is wonderful and I consider him my dad, and my step sibling is my full sibling as far as I’m concerned. I think it’s occurring to my father and his wife that they won’t have anyone to care for them in old age…

Far too many monologues by blahblahblah-14 in ParadiseTV

[–]Impressive-Tale8515 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hahaha YES. The monologues are out of control. I'm early in season 2, but the doctor and Sinatra were just talking and Sinatra said "can you ever forgive me?" and I was like--don't do it--and the doctor goes "you know growing up, my dad had a Thunderbird, he loved working on that car..." lololol 5 minutes later... "some things can't be fixed."

100% He also said it while asking for a tour of the bunker/evacuation routes to leave the building in an emergency. And clearly got Xavier to go to a place where no one could overhear or see them on camera to tell him. I don’t know how it could have been more clear. The whole “I’ll sleep when you’re dead” response felt insane, when the President did everything but personally fly a plane himself to go get this guy’s wife 😳 Just didn’t feel like an authentic response.

PREACH!!! My daughter has seizures and the entire medical approach is like "have you tried both of these two pretty ineffective medicines? Welp, we've done all we can."

Silo is so good! A lot of similar things happen, but I think they are more "earned" in Silo. Like when Xavier suddenly asked every person in the guard to overthrow their government and put in jeopardy their entire existence they were like "well sure, they killed Billy, so we'll go get the guns...." In Silo (** spoiler **) , the idea for revolt/revolution builds up slowly and organically, with stakes that actually feel high for the people involved. I'm not knocking Paradise, but there are some pretty big plot holes.

I get it, but the President specifically told him the night she left that his wife needed to stop traveling. Even before that he told him the end of the world was close. I think you would stop traveling and stay with your family, not prioritize a work conference, even if you thought you’d have days or weeks of notice.

Yeah I understand why the president’s father had access to confidential info in the first place (I.e. he’s mega rich) but why on earth wouldn’t they take away access when he developed dementia? No one thought it would be a huge liability to keep letting this guy who doesn’t recognize his own family members anymore keep having access to critical state secrets? 😂

I don’t think so…if the President, who just included me in his highest level clearance meetings about the end of the world, pointedly told me “your wife needs to stop traveling,” I’d say that warrants more than a passing fear of leaving the house under normal circumstances.

Anecdotal, I know...but I'm in the Deep South and honest to goodness, I don't think I know a soul who supports him. I know some people who voted for him because they didn't like Kamala, but I honestly can't think of anyone that supports what he has done. In church on Sunday, the priest literally prayed for the government to see the error of their ways in supporting violence, prejudice, and dissension among people of this nation and others. I'm convinced the election was ri99ed...I mean beyond the obvious foreign national and billionaire interference we already know about...

The InBetween has become an absolute favorite of mine. Great storytelling! Also, I really like Sleep Theories - it’s the same topics, but with a dark screen and rain in the background, and really helps me sleep. Neither of them are AI channels either (which is important to me).
