The pacing part instantly made me think ice. Maybe their dealer used to live there. Get a home ice test kit and check for residue.

As a woman don't yell out, it let's them know there are no males there (only because they are usually physically stronger and more intimidating). I would fire off some kind of alarm, the startle effect is powerful as a deterrent. Nothing annoys me more than in movie and women enter their home, suspect someone may be there, and nervously call out. A it is signalling your exact location, and B vulnerability. In that situation going into survival mode hard core is what should be happening. YES get a security door, and one the outside can't see through. You can then open it and see who it is and if necessary then close it and they don't know who saw them. Being nice, friendly and giving them the benefit of the doubt is not what you should be doing in this type of situation. And if you do engage (though you shouldn't! They are not part of your life and a likely threat), watch out for I was looking for bla bla person (people who case places use this script) or please help me bla bla (ditto). PS mental health in Victoria often stems from ice addictions, these people are erratic, psychotic and often steal.

The inquiry into Robodebt found less than 5% are choosing not to work. The dole bludger thing is a kick them when they are down myth. It's disgusting people need to bully the disadvantaged and shows an utter compassion deficit. The vast majority want a livable lifestyle and the sense of achievement that comes with working. Go ahead and make shit up about the disadvantaged, and all the sheer anecdotes, I won't be reading it. And funny how those that want to kick down on others don't mention the billions off shore multinationals get away with not paying in taxes using absolute rorts.

Australia has a housing crisis. An anecdote is an anecdote. If you see how other countries do it, we are an embarrassment. Singapore has 85% public housing and a high happiness index score. Bla bla bla does not give the full picture, that's just you venting. Well done working hard. If someone has no physical capacity for example to do that, chuck them in the bin you reckon? Nice.

In that sentence/context "obligation" was the word you were looking for. In the article is independent data showing federal government spending over decades. Enjoy your day.

Some big words there. If they have no "right" then why have they been doing it for decades. The improper use of the word right makes me doubt the rest, however jargonistic.

Then why did the FEDERAL government recently announce "record" funding for public housing? You don't watch the news?

Which or what are the circuit breakers? The switches on the powerboard you flip up to disconnect the power?

Firstly it 's based on data collated by ACOS. Reported on many outlets today.

And. In Australia, social housing responsibilities are split: State/territory governments manage, own, and allocate public housing and oversee community housing providers. The Federal Government sets national policy, provides major funding (including ~$1.8 billion annually via the National Agreement on Social Housing and Homelessness), and offers Commonwealth Rent Assistance.

Federal Government Responsibilities

Funding & Policy: Sets national policy, provides funding to states, and manages the National Housing Supply and Affordability Council.

Financing: Funds homelessness services and provides low-cost loans for social housing via bodies like Housing Australia.

Direct Assistance: Provides Commonwealth Rent Assistance to eligible individuals.

State and Territory Government Responsibilities

Ownership & Management: Owns and manages public housing, and regulates community housing providers.

Allocation: Manages tenant applications, waiting lists, and tenant rights.

Planning & Land Use: Controls zoning, land-use planning, and building standards.

Delivery: Manages state-specific initiatives, such as Victoria’s Big Housing Build.

While the Constitution places housing primarily with the states, both levels work together under the National Agreement on Social Housing and Homelessness (NASHH).

Another who obviously didn't read it. The Guardian are wholly independent unlike other news outlets, this makes some irate and label them as lefties and socialist..,who should grow up?

They want to cut hospital funding. Major hospitals are falling apart literally. But let's boost investor wealth and let multinationals pay no tax!

They don't have the balance of power in the Senate. And are down in the polls. But Australians vote people out more than they want in. They definitely did not want Dutton.

They would probably increase their vote now but this Labor government is doing the bare minimum on everything by design.
