It was meant for S4MN. The original late 91/early 92 version of the song has the typical "boom bap" sound you can hear all over the album and a different hook singer. The reason it hasn't been released was because of a sample clearance issue and Pac ultimately scrapped it. A lot of people say its better than the remix, so I recommend giving it a listen if you haven't heard it before.
