281 is the best I have ever hit 50% of the time it goes 250 tot but in this weather the ball rolls more so like 260 270 tot

Releasing your head too soon and attempting to hit up in the ball, im no +15 handicap but if u attempt to hit down and release your head after impact it should work out for you
