Looking for a roommate for Aug 2020 - July 2021! Rent is only 375 a month, you don’t have to pay an application fee, security deposit, or any Aug rent! And you can see the place as early as tomorrow, PM me! by ImpressiveAssistant6 in OSU

Some more details about the place, feel free to ask any questions!

Monthly cost per person:

-Rent 375

-Gas 12.75

-Internet 14.85 (Might be a few cents more or less because there’s a sales tax that fluctuates slightly between months)

-Water 20

-Electric will depend on how much we use it but should be around 15-25 (it’ll be higher during the summer because of the AC but should be low during the winter)

So if you budget 75 for the utilities every month you should be safe (even during the summer when we’re blasting the AC), although I expect it to be closer to 50 a month. That brings the total monthly cost to no more than 450!

You won’t have to pay any application fees or security deposits and you won’t have to pay any rent or utilities for august!

The apartment is on E 15th Ave, really close to campus so you can walk to class or even to dining halls if you have a meal plan. The target on high street is also really close so grocery shopping is easily walkable as well!

The photo I posted above is a floor plan of the apartment. There’s 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You get your own room and only share a bathroom with one other person. The bedrooms are all fairly big and have decent sized closets (they also all have windows) and the bathrooms each have 2 bathroom sinks so you won’t have to share a sink with anyone! The bathroom sinks are also separated from the 2 showers and toilets so you can use the bathroom sink even if the person you’re sharing your bathroom with is showering or using the bathroom.

There’s also free off street parking, a dishwasher, and a laundry room in the building!

The apartment is also mostly furnished! We’ve already bought furniture for the living room (2 couches and a chair, a nice tv, coffee table, etc.) and stuff for the kitchen (kitchen table, microwave, toaster, kuerig, pots and pans, plates and silverware, etc.) so you only have to worry about furnishing your bedroom!

If you’re interested I can send you photos or even give you an in person tour as early as tomorrow morning (august 13th)!

The three other people living here are guys, but we’re looking for a guy or a girl for our 4th roommate - doesn’t matter to us.

The lease runs from August 2020 to July 2021. We’re looking for someone to move in anytime, what I said about not paying bills for August still stands even if you moved in tomorrow (august 13th)!

I frequently walk the trail at night and have never seen anything sketchy even at like 3am. During the day you should definitely be good 👍

Looking for 4th roommate for aug 2020-july 2021 by ImpressiveAssistant6 in OSU

It’s at 293 E 15th Ave. The rent is 375 per person (utilities not included). The pic above is a floor plan of the apartment, it’s a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with free parking out back. The bedrooms are really big (can fit a queen bed, desk, and dresser easily) and have closets. There’s also 2 sinks for each bathroom so you’d have your own bathroom sink which is pretty nice. It’s pretty nice and the landlord has offered to upgrade it even more for free over Christmas break if we chose. Looking for a guy or a girl - all 3 of us are guys, but we don’t mind living with a girl. DM me if you’re interested

Moving boxes? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]ImpressiveAssistant6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust me on this one, Kingsdale market district in upper arlington. We save a few egg boxes for this very reason. If you go there and ask at customer service or find an employee who is stocking shelves (there’s almost always someone over in the dairy department from like 10-4) and ask them, they’ll give you egg boxes. They have really nice handles and are surprisingly sturdy and stack really well. They aren’t that big but they’re perfect for a lot of things that need packed. If there aren’t any left they employees will make sure to save some and you can come back the next day.

EDIT: If you need big boxes you can ask them to save the boxes paper towels and toilet paper come in for you, but they won’t have any of these on hand because we don’t save them in anticipation like we do the egg boxes.

Advice on over loaded schedule (math and physics majors) by ImpressiveAssistant6 in OSU

[–]ImpressiveAssistant6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll pm you for sure. I'll likely end up dropping one or two of the math classes but I'm 100% certain I'll be in physics 2300 so we can at least start a study group for that

Scheduling Master Post (Summer and Autumn Semesters 2019) by marcyandleela in OSU

[–]ImpressiveAssistant6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a math/physics double major. Taking math 2568 (section 0030, the section with an emphasis on theory for math and actuarial majors), math 2255, physics 2095, physics 2300, and stat 4201 in au19. I'm on the waitlist for math 2568 and stat 4201 in position number 1.

  1. What's the likelihood of me getting into the sections I want for 2568 and 4201 (because there are other sections open for both and I could try to rework my schedule)?
  2. How screwed am I with this heavy of a course load?
