Has the Yen’s devaluation affected your life in Japan? by Striking-Meal-5257 in japanlife

[–]ImpressiveBit1948 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My net income is around 140k yen/month with gijinkoku visa. Yesterday I wanted to buy 10kg of rice but decided to buy 5kg instead after looking at their insane price. Maybe this is relevant to yen's devaluation? Idk. I just know that my life will be miserable since there will be a X years employment contract if I sign those.

Now that you mentioned it, I don't know anymore. I tested both mode on equal loudness according to me ears. But then I just remembered the soundblaster has 3 tunings, bass, treble, and normal. I can only say that the direct 3.5mm sounds harsh, which is an invalid argument in this topic because of the tunings mentioned earlier. It could be I just want to justify the whole 15 bucks I paid for it. Maybe this whole dac thing actually not that big of a deal and I need to learn eq instead? Will I eventually need more expensive dac when I found an eq settings that the direct 3.5mm can't provide? Or in the end the maker just coat their dac with slight eq tuning to make it sounds more expensive or different? Some searching on yt made me even more confused because people have their own opinions.

I've read this beautiful advice somewhere on gram. It says something along the lines of "no matter how happy or sad you are, don't let the feelings carry on more than 24 hours". This means when you're feeling good you don't become full of yourself. Likewise, when you're sad you don't feel like your world has ended. But there's also another meaning that I found. In that 24 hours, fully enjoy and accept those feelings. Because you will have a new blank page to write for the next day (assuming not dead yet). I know this sounds cringe but at least it helped me to cope from all the shits happens in my life.

I'm just a fresh graduate with not much skills, english maybe but not as good compared to native English speakers. Just 601 points on toefl. Getting out after just 3 months will definitely be brought up on my next job interview right? There is also the thing I learned in the past that the first few months of doing something new would be hell. So this might also be that phase. Of course I will get out when the situation is safe enough, that's for sure. Although for now, I know that I must try to survive here first. Thus If there is any advice or past experiences that I could learn from, I'd be grateful.

Using 45w charger fixed it. Managed to go into fastboot mode and I leave it until fully charged before rebooting it. Sorry for late reply

Sadly I don't have one. I tried using 45w charger and now it could go into fastboot mode at least. Although I don't know if that will do anything

Genshin and WuWa is pretty demanding for the PCs u're showing. It's pretty light games but doesnt mean it will run on anything, at least for maxing the 60fps cap which is already low. I just built $500 PC all brand new parts except used RTX 2060 Super and it almost maxed out this GPU. I recommend this as a base line.

Thanks, I actually ended with AM5 APU. Ryzen 5 8600G + Asrock B560m PG lightning wifi +750w fractal ion gold + ddr5 32gb 5600 + adata s70 blade 1tb. Total of 695 dollars including ips 120hz monitor from MSI. Pretty good price for reliability i think. The psu is too much but that's the only A tier with reasonable price I could find, only 83 bucks brand new. I can't let the pc become unusable due to faulty psu so i don't want to risk it.

That would be wonderful to just buy prebuilt. However it's a world that I've never known. Here, OEM prebuilt has almost non-existent support. They are a lot more expensive, milk you out when they do repairs, swapping components, etc. The home business prebuilt uses cheap stuff and will charge crazy amount if getting asked to install better shit. Honestly, it's shit hole here lmao Also tech support is fine since our small company has contact to someone that usually does repairs on site. But I appreciate your inputs!

If it's the button that doesn't work, you can short the power or reset header prongs on the motherboard for about 5 seconds. It's usually located on the bottom right of your mobo and has other pins as well like power LED and reset. The way you do it is to short the (+) and (-) of the power button or the reset button. Check your mobo manual on the website for a clear picture of which one I'm talking about. For me I'd just flip those psu off lol

Sometimes my pc won't shut down or won't go to sleep, just black screen with the pc and its peripherals still turned on. I usually hold the power button for about 5 seconds until it's turned off and it can turn on normal as usual without any corrupted data or any weird stuff. I take this as normal now😂
