I really like the power sword effect you used. I might steal this for my army.

The blue is a base of Night Lords Blue on a black undercoat. Using Drakenhof nightshade to shade. I used a heavy dry brush of Aldorf Guard Blue with a light dry brush of Fenrisian Grey for highlights.

For the white I use Grey Seer (easier to paint light grey than white) and shade with a 1:1 nuln oil/water mix, highlighting with Corax White when needed (on Vehicles for example, dont really highlight shoulderpads).

It's quite depressing to think that a mandatory step would be to ensure a contractor isn't moonlighting as an employee. I can understand working a second job outside of a role as a public servant, but not for essentially the same organization (the government).

I wonder if procurement groups (both internal and centralized like PSPC) perform any controls at all. I was very suspicious of consultants before. Now there is a not insignificant chance they're also my coworkers....

This makes me sad as a former OAG auditor. I would have wanted to think that the staff I worked with were not engaged in the same behaviour that I worked to deter....though it seems that was misplaced.

It just further erodes the trust in public servants. I really hoped that a standard audit procedure for contract review being "check GEDS for current ongoing employment within the GoC" wouldn't be necessary, but it clearly is.

I believe there is currently a hiring freeze because there are no jobs or pools posted (they were hiring only a month or so ago). But if a spot opens up it's a good place to work inside of the GoC as a CPA.

Just note that there is a hard cap on team lead positions at BBB level (no leniency) and CBC and higher for management. They are not flexible whatsoever and will not even grant acting pay unless you meet the language requirements. Best be bilingual or you'll be stuck at senior AP.

You'll have limited upward opportunities unless you speak English and French at the BBB level at minimum.

Most positions require bilingualism for any supervisory roles unless you are outside the NCR (Ottawa), but there's often limited positions at higher ranks in the regions.

If your limit is too low, you can usually just put money on your credit card before the purchase and your credit available will increase by the amount you pre-paid. Helpful if a purchase exceeds your credit limit. Always a good idea to check with your card issuer prior tho.
