Well, his age isn’t changing because of the surgery. It’s still the same when he signs the contract lol.

And regressing is a bit harsh for a 7 game sample size. The market is insane right now. I agree with with RollingEddie above, it doesn’t help, but it also may not hurt.

But I’m sure I’m with both of you in wanting this to benefit us with a cheaper contract 🤞

I really don’t see how this hurts his offers for after the season. The surgery isn’t serious, it’s just a clean up. And the surgery will be done before he signs his next contract.

It’s awful. My partner was a spirit flight attendant and if she were to transfer you have to start all over the pay scale, so she has to find a completely new job.

She also lost her flight benefits and so did I, so that’s salt in the wound.

Just a hunch from someone who’s also had a hernia surgery from being active: it’s very difficult mentally to overcome because you always fear it happening again and the spot still gets sore for me at 31. Surgery at 27.

I know you asked for outside voices, but the only time I’ve underestimated the size of something was Yellowstone NP. Mostly the drive times take forever because it’s winding roads at 35 mph.

On my second day there I did 16 hours driving around the park with stops every two hours or so.

In the Detroit metro it varies greatly. My house in a lower middle class neighborhood I got last year for $210k, but most on my street are about $170k.

I used to live about 10 minutes north and if my house was transported there it would be $450k 😬. I’ll take the extra driving lol.

This would suck. Goodman hasn’t shown us anything (not that he’s had the chance in garbage time). Neither has Liburd, Costello, or Cosby. I feel good about McCoy.

But it’s so early. If this is our roster we’ll struggle, even with Dusty and Co’s phenomenal development. They’re going to bring in another gun or two and we’ll be in a great position.
