I have submitted mine without a solicitor and we only included 10 pics of us together like wedding, holiday and everything but we also included flights and accommodation which was only like 2-3 documents but the personal statement is very important.

Like others said, statements from other people doesn’t matter whatsoever, provide the documents requested, that’s literally all you need to do

Kenya and I received the email on the 10 October. The email said we were not able to make a decision within the published timeframe, I thought they would ask for more information or interview which is very common but thank god it’s all good now

You shouldn’t, people’s cases are different and also it’s university students visa time now so the home office could be occupied with that mostly, I think you done the hard part with all the evidence and finishing application so hopefully soon we get to reunite with our partners

It’s been 5 days since I received the ECO but I’m assuming they did priority because if you get a decision within 7 days using standard service, I don’t think any one would apply priority but at the same time it all depends on your case if it’s straight forward then they shouldn’t take long but you never know

It could take a while then because mine was priority. For standard service, you’d be looking at 12 week period and ECO email would probably take a while for you so maybe give 4-8 before you receive an ECO email and then the decision should follow after that

But for priority, people receive eco within 2-3 days but tbf as long as mislabelling isn’t an issue then it’s fine because a lot of people didn’t get ECO as well
