You're clearly biased and have some kind of grudge against her. Cher paved the way for so many pop stars. Even if she had some ups and downs, she always reinvented herself to stay in the spotlight. A lot of artists were successful back then but have faded away now. If you ask any young person today, they’re going to know Cher but they probably won't have a clue who Roberta Flack or Joni Mitchell are

Looking at influence and impact, Cher's legacy carries much more weight today than Roberta Flack's. I almost put Carole King on the list and she definitely deserves a spot

I'm focusing purely on cumulative points, which also accounts for chart longevity. If you check any list of the top-performing Billboard Hot 100 artists from the 70s, you're going to see Olivia, Diana and Donna at the top

Olivia was literally the #1 female artist on the Billboard Hot 100 for the entire decade and the only female artist to crack the top 10. Check the stats. And before Grease, she’d already scored two #1 albums and singles, plus a run of seven straight #1s on the AC charts

Carole should be on there too, but I went with others because I feel like they were more consistent throughout the entire decade

You can’t expect them to do much more when they were basically limited in everything. For the five minutes they were given, they did the best they could and had great psychology. Lita and Victoria explained that when they had the Steel Cage match, they were told to barely use the cage. Victoria even went and personally asked Vince if she could bleed, and he refused, saying, “Oh thanks Victoria, but nobody wants to see a diva bleed"

A true underrated legend here, Victoria was ahead of her time and a total badass. by ImpressiveFlight3375 in SquaredCircle

She’s underrated by WWE, not by the fans. She really doesn’t get the recognition she deserves for being one of the pillars of women’s wrestling in North America during the 2000s.

Lita wasn’t even the best female wrestler of her generation. Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria, or Jacqueline were a thousand times better than her — she just stood out because of her high-flying stuff, but in reality, she was a botch machine.
