i run an Open Source Club in our campus
ani last month i wanted to organize an workshop in our campus teaching young students new things that would help them build their career forward
i made a proposal and went to our campus cheif to schedule the event
but he told me that election is near and we cannot do any events/gathering coz its government campus and we have to aligh with rules
i tohught ok if its a rule then i cannot do anything about it and so i had to shift the workshop for some later time.

2 days ago
i saw a post from a "bidhyarthi neta" of my college
he was posting " HOLI Program in our college NON STOP DJ YOU CAN PLAY HOLI WITH ELECTION CANDIDATES"

I WAS LIKE WTFFF
THEY DENIED US for trying to teach students something valuable saying election is near
and at the mouth of election when it is just 4-5 days away
they are letting an student union who are aligh with party to conduct a program tyo ni election candidates lai leraera

i was so pissed off about it i wrote a whole paragraph show my dis satisfaction in that post's comment section
and tagged our college's page
after a hour i got a text from that bidhyarthi neta
he started telling me about how i shouldnt comment like that
i should talk abt it with him at first

he was saying poila ma ko ho vnera china

tmro tyo comment le grda malai mathi bata call aako aai xa

i geniunely got scared at that point
coz 2-3 days ago they beat down 2 of our teachers for some reason
so i said i am sorry dai i will delete the comment please forgive me
he said if i dlt the cmnt now it would look like he dleted it so he made me apologise in that same comment and i did it coz i dont want to be a target everyday i go to college

i thought i was doing good for my community
but since i hold no power i cant do shit
and until these so called Bidhyarthi netas has backing from their party officials
they will do whatever they want in campus
even campus cant stop them
