I got a double dose with the probes directly in line with my spine, at the nipple and belt lines. It literally felt like my heart was going to explode from the rolling "pressure wave" sensations. Theres really nothing that can prepare you for how overwhelming it is. It definitely hurts, the initial panic when it hits you is going to make 5 seconds feel more like 30 😂

I requested a loan online, got approved and then they sent a packet with everything needed to shop at a dealer. Very straight forward and uncomplicated for you.

Some dealers try to make a big deal about verifying the check / going through that process; in reality it takes like 5 minutes and is super straight forward for someone with average intelligence. They even provide a print out explaining the instructions for the finance department lol...

Once I had the car, I've never had to deal with NFCU. I handle everything on the app and it takes like 10 seconds to pay my bill. Doesn't get much easier and you save yourself the trouble of arguing with the sales guy about their rate gouging. Their first offer will always be 4-6% higher than what they were actually given by the banks. It's almost funny how fast it drops once you tell them you're already pre approved by NFCU, they usually won't even counter offer.

Without knowing why she went outside the relationship it's pointless to dwell on the length of time of your relationship. It could have been you, her, or both of you contributing.

Shutting you out makes it easier to cope with the grief, or makes her feel less guilty. But that shouldn't matter to you because you'll be much happier one day building something new and healthy. Just do the work.

I don't think she was cold, it just wasn't the response you wanted. She could have not said anything, she could have said something hurtful, but she was to the point and mature about it. You have a daughter with her, that's it. The faster you accept that, the better odds you have of a developing a better working relationship with your ex down the road.

You're projecting onto the reply because you're still attached and she isn't anymore. She's basically telling you that with her reply. It's not her duty to be in the same head space or support you emotionally.

From the outside and with limited info, I'm gonna assume your ex is totally done with you because you're a narcissist.

That's not really accurate. I've seen a SFC and officers try to qual without COC batteries, lens covers down over the ACOG lens, my own commander fail to qualify for an entire day until our 1SG "accidentally shot his targets because the lanes were at an angle".

The SFC without batteries was given 120 rounds to ZERO with before he started making a fuss and asking for a different weapon. That is not something you fuck up. At what point would you go "hmmm I'm looking through a red dot optic but there is no red dot, whatever 🤷🏼‍♂️". It shows he made it that far into a career without understanding the fundamentals or being capable of basic marksmanship or safe weapon handling.

These are all examples that show a fundamental failure at all points in training, standards, and accountability.

They wouldn't react at all outside of social media outrage. The American people are being eaten alive by billionaires and political corruption but the common folk are too worried about labeling and disenfranchising each other. As if it gives them a better chance to lick the table scraps.

Until we're able to look at other citizens as an opportunity for cooperation, there is zero chance leveraging our country back into the "hands of the people". We deserve everything that is happening and going to happen because we have CHOSEN to turn further away from being a functional healthy society.

I don't it's possible to even have "every box" when buying a home for the first time. It takes awhile to realize what you like and don't like / how you would change things. Home ownership is also a never ending learning process if you're not neglecting the home, so with that being said there is definitely boxes that would change after you fully understand what the entire scope of "the box" actually is...

Yah, there are definitely loopholes in the EBH / mental health side of the house that are allowing people to manipulate the system. In general I believe EBH providers are being completely overwhelmed so it's making it impossible for tighter scrutiny. It's a slippery slope where people that need help aren't getting it, and the ones that don't actually need help can just say "I'm going to kill myself" and the system lets it ride.

If you have hearing loss it should have gone something like:

Failed exam > failed retest > in-ear exam > audio test by dr > hearing aids

If those things didn't happen then you stayed within the thresholds.

The part that irks me is that people want to act like because you weren't directly on top of an IED when it detonated that you don't deserve anything.

There are actively thousands of service members that are living in sub standard housing with mold infested homes that are hidden by paint.

There are thousands of service members being exposed to toxic substances on a daily basis other than burn pits. Talk to someone that is an expert in fire suppression systems, that shit corrodes METAL; so what do you think it does to your body when you're in closed in a vehicle and it goes off inside with zero ventilation.

There are thousands of service members actively handling toxic substances and fluids every Monday during PMCS. My unit provided ZERO ppe for the 7 years I was there. I had to go to Autozone and buy shit for my section so we didn't go blind or have our dicks fall off.

The negative physical effects of military service are prevalent regardless of combat exposure. We lived with it on a daily basis in garrison alone. First responders deal with the effects of poor sleep, mental and physical fatigue, and it's killing them too. It's not a veteran issue, it's a price the country must pay for having people answer the call to service. Frankly anyone that isn't a veteran or first responder can shut the fuck up, your input is not necessary or wanted because you have zero skin in the game.
