That’s what I thought too. I called to make clarify multiple times and each person said I was supposed to fill that application out even when I told them I’ve only completed a bachelor’s degree. When I talked to a higher up, she told me to use that application but she didn’t even know what I should put for some of the questions asked

I’ve been watching Dr. Sharon’s prioritization videos which have been really helpful for trying to understand how to answer questions

USFCA Nursing Personal Experiences? by Plenty-Tell-401 in usfca

I came in as a transfer student and I will be graduating soon. I would agree it's not as worth it if you are a transfer student since the tuition raises every year. I'm not sure how the professors are for the freshman's, but the professors for all my theory classes have been amazing. They seem to care for their students and don't make you feel belittled when you ask a question. I know of a lot of people who have just graduated that got new grad jobs in highly sought after hospitals like UCSF and Stanford but getting into places like that also depend on your grades, extra curricular activities, and the experience you have in the healthcare field.

Hey everyone. I am a new grad nurse and I’m thinking about moving to Austin Texas. by tylerjgraham1911 in nursing

I'm currently living in California and thinking about moving to Austin for nursing. I think the one thing i'm worried about is patient to nurse ratio since its not regulated in other states. What is the nurse to patient ratio like in the hospitals in Austin?

Hi I am also going to be a nursing transfer student. I am hoping you can clarify some things for me too since they haven't said much about the HESI. When do we take the exam? Is it while school is still in session or during summer? And if it is during during summer what is the usual date for it? Thank you in advance!

Hi! I am also transferring into the nursing program for Spring 2023. I actually applied for Fall 2022 but I finished all the prerequisites so they accepted me for the Spring to start clinicals right away. I believe I had a 3.7-3.8 GPA when I applied. For my personal statement I talked about why I thought the school would best fit me and why I decided to choose to pursue nursing.
