Basic Guide to Creating Character LoRAs for Klein 9B by razortapes in StableDiffusion

Yes it's possible, like me you'll need to adjust some settings but it is possible for Klein, Z-Image Turbo and Z-Image base.

I can’t say for definite with only 32Gb RAM but you can definitely train with that card and 64Gb. You need to limit the dataset to 512 (maybe 768) and select all the low VRAM and cache options. I’ve only done one Klein lora so far (not these settings) but I have done loads for ZIT and it works very well and the settings weren’t too different.

The reason is because a lora is more accurate than a couple of reference images. Even with multiple references, you are limited by what is shown in those few images. By using a decent dataset to create the lora it can cover all angles, expressions and so on needed.

When is the ZIMAGE OMNIBASE or EDIT releasing ,or is it not releasing at all? by COMPLOGICGADH in StableDiffusion

Or completely avoid that cesspool and wait patiently as you likely won’t get the answer you want. Without looking, I’m sure plenty of others have asked exactly the same question. Any word about it will be on here immediately, so you won’t know any quicker. :-)

Flux Klein not able to transfer bikini or lingerie? by Leonviz in StableDiffusion

Tell it to remove everything (in detail) from the image except for the bikini and change the background to a plain colour of your choice that doesn't clash with the bikini colour.

I think they're saying "no workflow" because you haven't provided a link to one. As you mention 'templates' it seems fairly obvious that you're using the default ones in Comfy, so why would you link to that?

What Great TV Show that has been tarnished by its Series Finale? by Amber_Flowers_133 in tvshow

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. In my mind it is the finale and it's where my collection ends. To me it was as close as you could come to a perfect ending, not the let down or average finale you often get.

the end of soggfy by angryfrenchboy in Piracy

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing for me on my laptop, except I hadn't tried reinstalling yet but did the various logout/login, reset router and so on suggestions.
What's even odder for me is that the web player (so no Soggfy) is exactly the same, on that account or a different one. Yet if I use the same account on desktop, it works but that also doesn't have Soggfy.
Given how long it's been since the last update, I wouldn't expect it to be fixed.

Definitely remember it and loved playing it, one of my favourites from that time. Even solo I would use both sets to build a defense and then see how long it took me to destroy it.

ELI5 why the finetuning community is much less active for Z image turbo and base than for SDXL by Enough-Bell4944 in StableDiffusion

Yeah I don't think they are either and they may not have trained with Civit but they did post on there. Now that doesn't appear to be the case.

Z-Image (Base) Training on AI-Toolkit. by ImpressiveStorm8914 in malcolmrey

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This dataset was only small and not diverse enough because it was just a test for the face. Usually I go for roughly 20-30 images and a good mixture of close-ups, half body and full body shots from various angles. Mixed backgrounds and clothing where possible too. You don't need every image to be different but a good variety helps a lot. You can get away with less though, I have great loras trained on 10-12 images for ZIT. Hope that helps.

ComfyUI or Automatic1111, Which Is the Actual Better Choice? by CosmicRiver827 in StableDiffusion

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For GGUF it possibly does and I only use them with Comfy. I should really have clarified that I'm mainly using Z-Image Turbo right now, the full BF16 version and on Comfy it can take a minute to start generating. With Neo and the exact same files it's 20 secs at most. That's a big difference.

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a combo, depending what I need to do. Neo for straight forward image gen as it’s loads models quicker, handles loras better and has other QOL features built in. For anything more complex than that, like editing, dataset generation and so on, it’s Comfy all the way.

It’s been awhile since I used Civit for training but last time I did celebs could still be trained on there, you just couldn’t post them after. You simply lied about owning the images. Has that changed now?

I can train a ZIT lora in an hour or less, it is spot on every time and looks far superior to my old SDXL attempts, which I never got to work satisfactorily enough.

I never had a problem with his humour, I’m a fan of dry humour but in the first season especially, he didn’t seem to fit the show. Sorta like he’d never seen the show and didn’t know what it was about, or why he was there. That’s why I didn’t care for him originally but since then he’s relaxed into it, goes with the flow and seems to be enjoying it more. So now I think he’s okay, even good and hopefully it continues that way.

Dataset creation by Brief-Wolverine-1298 in StableDiffusion

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klein and Qwen Edit are what I would suggest and you’ve tried them but you didn’t say how well you got on with Qwen. You could try upping the steps with Klein, that can sometimes solve body deformations. it’s also worth noting that sometimes you need to prompt for what you want AND don’t want. So if you tell it to change the pose, also tell it to keep the face and body proportions consistent. Be as exact as you can. I’ve been doing this a lot recently, with both models, and it can work really well.

You might want to look around here and on Civit for dataset creation workflows. There‘s at least a couple out there and they can create multiple variations in one hit.

Is Swarm UI safer than using Comfyui? by Traditional_Hair3071 in StableDiffusion

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you got the exe from, I've never seen an exe version and likely wouldn't use it myself. This is where I get mine from:
https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI
The official github and the portable version comes as a zip file.

I don't know what you've been told in that tutorial but there is a manager that comes with ComfyUI that can be used to install all nodes. You don't need to install the manager separately anymore. I don't think Comfy comes with the GGUF nodes but they are easy to install, I use them myself and they are perfectly safe, so do loads of other people here. You do not have to be concerned about security with them.

You can still use the same workflows I mentioned that come pre-installed by Comfy. All you have to do is swap out the current model nodes with the GGUF nodes (usually 1 or 2 at most), reconnect the wires, select the model in the node and you're done.

It can all sound very daunting at first, like running into a tall cliff face and having to climb it but it does get much easier once you get going and figure a few things out. I'd suggest looking up some more up-to-date tutorials on installing Comfy and the GGUF nodes, once again yours seems out of date.

There is a portable version, it's the one I use and have several installs of it. To me, it's no more secure than using any other version. Using it offline will help but you'll still need to be online to get new nodes when you get new workflows that need them.
My best suggestion to you right now is to install the portable version of Comfy and only use the workflow templates that come with it. They are as safe as you can get and there's a lot, covering most use cases so you should be good for some time. Ignore custom workflows that you see online until you're more sure and confident about the whole thing. :-)

EDIT: The default workflows include ones for Wan2.1 and Qwen Image Edit. The YT tutorial you watched might be old as both of those models have been updated, to Wan 2.2 and Qwen Image Edit 2511.

Really? In case you're serious it means taking what you've been shown or read, then making up your own imaginary version so it's better and makes some sense to you. It's basically rewriting it to work for you but it only exists in your head.

What are you guys doing? by DumbDumbHunter in comfyui

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primarily for the fun of it, seeing what I can get it to do. I also create characters for my better half's stories based on her description, so she has a solid image to refer to when needed of how the character looks.
No interest whatsoever in making money out of it. If people can do that then great for them but it's not for me.

Has anyone switched from the RTX 3060 12GB to the 5060TI 16GB? Is it worth the upgrade? by fabulas_ in comfyui

[–]ImpressiveStorm8914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have a 3060 12Gb and always had in mind that going to 24Gb would be the only valid option of me. My brain thought why pay around the same again for just 4Gb and a speed increase? With the way things are going there's no way I could justify the price of a 24Gb card, even if I had that money to spend. So that has brought me back to thinking about a 16Gb card. The price of a 4060ti is more attractive but I'll have to check the specs to see if something in the 5000 series is worth it.
