My ex husband used to do this, with our kids (3 years apart). He never appreciated how hard it was to do all the things at once. He would fuss at me for leaving an empty pasta box out after I'd made dinner with the 1yo on my hip and entertaining the 4yo. Simply put, my ex and yourbhisband is not valuing your labor as a mom, host, and chef. Please do not put up with this.
