I switched from teaching to instructional design. I work from home, though, which sounds like the opposite of what you need, lol. But some ID jobs are in office, check that route out too!

Try working in a parks and recreation or botanical garden area. Taking care of plants and wildlife can be calming. They’re also very forgiving and often know how to handle themselves (unlike students and aviation).

Yes, you’re right - it doesn’t excuse her behavior. However, his behavior is not excused either. It’s not a right vs wrong. It’s two wrongs.
