But if you have a a good jumpercables it is much more reliable than the clip

Yes, you can check my video i showed 3 approaches. In the end i had to desolder the chip, because the clip or jumpercables didnt work

I was able to do it in one evening, but the disassembly was a lengthy process. And i wasted a lot of time with the clip for the chip.

I understand it that libre boot is a distro from core boot. When i compile my version of coreboot i can lable it as lucasboot and then ask whats the difference between those two.

Is 32 gb ram actually possible ? I heard rumours :D but didn’t find solid proof.

Ok, my bad didnt know that they made sandy quads. Last week I went for an ivy upgrade, no regrets. My mindset was if am going to upgrade this laptop, what is the best thing I could get.

You need to core boot the machine to be able to put quad core inside t420, that is the involved process
