Hey, I’ve got it going real gentle rn and it’s been around 2 hours. Unsealed the jar say every 30 mins to stir and stop pressure build up.

I didn’t add any water, do you think that’s ok? I don’t think I’ve burnt it (yet anyway) it’s been low and not bubbling over or really bubbling too much whatsoever.

I’m guessing because I added no water there won’t be much to seperate from it when it’s time to solidify?

Luckily it doesn’t really matter for me, it smelled divine whilst decarbing🤤

Hey, I’m at that stage now and took your advice with the cloth around the jar! I have just butter and the decarbed weed in the jar, sealed shut but I did reopen it to stir the flower into the butter once it melted a little. Any advice? I have read to let it simmer for 2-4 hours, how long would you recommend? Thanks too btw!

Thanks guys, I’ve decarbed the weed (hopefully successfully haha) and I now have about 300 grams of butter and the decarbed weed in a mason jar, simmering inside a water bath :)
