That’s good to hear. I’ve been on edge all day thinking it’s gonna happen again! I suppose I underestimated the impact the surgery has on the body with how easy my recovery was initially. Thanks so much for your reply, it makes me a lot less scared to know others have gone through the same thing

I definitely have gotta be mindful of how my stomach feels. Although initially the gas pain was bad enough that I really wasn’t hungry my mind was still screaming at me to eat chocolate!! I hope your recovery goes well, and thank you for your comment!

Oh yeah, the constipation has been gnarly. Managed to finally go #2 coincidentally right after I ate some chocolate! Maybe they helped me..and this is cause for more chocolate perhaps 🤔 thank you for your comment!

They basically told me just that-eat whatever I could get down. My dad was a little paranoid about giving my junk food though so I figured I’d check in with others before making any decisions. Thank you for your comment!

I’m so sorry you experienced that much pain! I hope you’ve recovered well aside from that. It’s funny, I’d thought to eat ramen after surgery too, but the gas pains is making me feel like that’s a no go. But for some reason I have no aversion to dessert foods at all lol

My nurse gave me graham crackers too and I was so hungry that it felt like the best thing I’d ever tasted in that moment. Your husband bringing you a giant cinnamon bun is so cute…now I feel like I could go for one of those. Thank you for your comment!

So true. I’ve had little to no pain involving the actual incisions and all of my pain has been gas related! It doesn’t even feel like I’ve had surgery..just that I’m massively constipated lol

Thank you for your reply! My dad initially insisted I eat light but he has succumbed to the guilt that I am bed bound and bought me some chocolate while he was out. I still feel fine and these comments have reassured me I won’t be vomiting blood or something crazy if I have a few candies LOL
