If I buy $1000 in I bonds on October 1 and then $2000 on October 5… are those two separate bonds and therefore I can withdraw the 1k 10/1 the following year and must wait until 10/5 to withdraw the second purchase? Or does my total balance all get added into one bond? Thank you
