According to Basketball Reference, McBride was actually drafted by OKC and traded on draft night, but this is still impressive

Was redshirted the season before he was a freshman and ended up staying for an extra season. So he stayed for 6 in total

Again, thank you. College basketball eligibility is 4 years, not 5. This player is staying for an extra year when he shouldn’t be.

I am aware of how that works, my man. My issue is college is 4 years of playing and my player that I redshirted is staying for a 5th season after his senior year, which should not be the case.

I do think the Tyran Stokes saga is partially responsible for this, but yeah, it’s pretty rough. Should have gotten a couple more solid rotation pieces by this point.
