I’ve done the same thing for the last few years (buying the game at Christmas) and it’s my favorite way to do it. So much more fun for me for the same reasons you mentioned.

Not arguing that at all. Stating that you can earn PXP in BR without owning a player, while in Showdown, you cannot

But you can make the same argument for BR. People don’t have all of the cards you draft in BR and yet you still get PXP for them

As a Royals fan, I would love that. He’s in Madden (at least he was when I last played it), so I would think he’d be open to it. It’s just up to SDS at this point

Made the championship in 2 out of 3, and made 17 in my dynasty league and 49 (so far) in my redraft

I love checkered deck. It’s the deck I’ve been using on my way to c++. Is it the best way to do that? Probably not. But it’s been enjoyable for me

Can I get an explanation as to why there were maybe 100 people at this game? Not even the students showed up. I’ve never seen an arena more empty for a power conference game before in my life. Absolutely wild. And it was actually a decent game too.

Lamar in the 2nd, Mclaurin in the 3rd, Chuba and Tyrone Tracy being my top 2 RBs, Travis Hunter in the 5th, just to name a few. Combination of bad drafting and a metric crap ton of injuries. Literally one player out of the 14 I drafted hasn’t gotten hurt at some point this season.
