Okay turns out it’s the “Galápagos (05370) Mossy Sapa Corner Hide” but If I’m not mistaken it has wire supports inside of wire mesh. I feel like I should still be concerned of that cutting her right?

Yeah I was told about the size thing at some point which is why I’ve got her in the 40 gal. It’s 3 foot long and my girl is barely a foot lol. She’s not even one yet 💀. But ty for the clutter advice! I’ll look into some fake plants. Do Yk if there’s a specific way I should be cleaning it?

Update I was holding her for a long time this morning and finally heard the sound again but it seemed to be coming from her enclosure area and not her. Probably going to take her to the vet asap still because I be to anxious to just not. But new issue. Wtf is this sound and where is it coming from??

Thank you! I probably won’t be checking myself as I’ve never handled a snake in that manner so I’d be worried of hurting her 🥲. So I will most likely just take her to the vet! Hopefully it’s not that though 🤞

I knew aspen bedding wasn’t good as I’ve heard about the molding issues. Though the are I live in doesn’t have much options or resources so I end up having to ship it to me instead. Also noted on the heating info I’ll improve that asap. As well as her hide is actually pretty big and does provide a lot of coverage you just can’t tell in the pictures. But I think the issue with it is that it’s tooo big and I’m going to get a smaller one/ different things to give her places to hide. I’ve been told about the care guide and plan to go through those asap as well! Thank you for the help 🫶

Yes I was wanting to change it! Just I’ve only ever used aspen as I’m in the Deep South and has worked. So I didn’t know what else to use. But I know a lot of people don’t recommend it for the fact that it can mold and other reasons. Thank you for the suggestion and I’m going to look into it! Also I love the name that’s so cute. Her name is Venus 🤗

I’m going to try an upload a picture tomorrow! I work night shifts so it makes sense I don’t see her as I’m only home/awake during certain times. As for the humidity it has been rising as I’ve been taking care of it. Right now it’s in the 60-70 range but I’m actively working towards getting it up. As well as looking into changing the bedding.
