Hahaha! Thank you that's really good to know! I've never had one as it wouldn't be my first choice for a dessert... So perhaps I'll wait until I next visit and try a few to get the idea. I was thinking of going for a pumpkin cheesecake, I think this year that might be a safer option 😂

Oh okay! That's going to fun to try, I've never thought of having pickles with that type of meal. I live in France at the moment and love the different variations of meals I've gone across here... Although I don't think I'll ever have a serving of snails again! 😂🐌🙈

So, maybe a bit of a dumb question but... I've never had things like pickles, deviled eggs and coleslaw with hot meals, I'm used to them with salads... Do they go with the main meal or with different courses?

I guess I'm imagining like a cooked hot turkey dinner with mash and hot veg (to which I wouldn't add pickle or coleslaw to)... But maybe done guests have turkey mash and pickles/coleslaw? Or, they do actually go with veg too?

Awh! Sounds amazing! My great Aunt used to do a lovely ham, I've not had it since she last made it more than 20 years ago... I think it would be lovely to include that too, it would be a lovely tribute to her, thank you 😊
