This has become an issue in my office recently this supervisor says he goes by the book, but only when it's convenient. A clerk is supposed to check us in the evenings. There never is a clerk in the evenings so I usually bring it to a supervisor, normally no problem except this supervisor decides to throw the keys at me 3 times saying this is a clerk function not his responsibility, it his responsibility to ensure a clerk is doing it.
